Open Clown Workshop (PWYW) in English • Every Other Sunday

Join us every other Sunday for an Open Clown Workshop at at The Clubhouse: Laietana & Nikki's in Barcelona (C/ Via Laietana 6).

If you’ve always wanted to try it out yourself, or you have some clown experience already and are just looking for a work out, the Open Clown Workshop is for you.

This workshop is for: anyone wanting to get funnier on stage; those looking for new clown exercises; likeminded people; a safe space to learn new skills; or an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone.

Our usual workshop teachers are experienced clowns who perform regularly in Barcelona and around the world. They have either trained with the legendary clown master Philipe Gaulier; performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival; organised their own cabaret shows; or have experience of developing clown numbers elsewhere. While every teacher has different strengths and exercises they’ll share, each workshop is designed to inspire you and help develop your skills as a comedic performer.

NOTE: This is a *pay what you want* workshop. Teachers will ask you to donate at the end of the workshop. Please bring cash if you would like to donate.
