OPEN CENTER: Miniature Shadow Box Workshop

In April, the Berkeley Art Center will launch the Open Center, expanding how we use our space beyond traditional gallery exhibitions. The Open Center will serve as a hub where ideas, artists, and community intersect, offering opportunities for interdisciplinary, intercultural, and inter-philosophical dialogue, reflection, and activation.

Enjoy an early evening with friends, family, and community folks in a creative and welcoming environment!

Join us for a fun, hands-on art workshop where you'll craft your own miniature shadow box. We provide all materials to design a unique 3-D landscape that tells a story. Learn techniques to bring your artistic vision to life and create a visual piece to share with others. Perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters to unleash your imagination!

All-ages. Light snacks and refreshments provided.
