Familia, we are going all the way out with an incredible lineup from intimately acoustic to big band - not to missed!! Jíbaro sounds from the mountains of Puerto Rico and Puertorican trova meet Brazilian choro, samba and Latin-American classics.
Featuring Edwin Colón-Zayas, cuatro puertorriqueño, joined by the warm sensual voice of Bay Area Boricua Madeleine Zayas and top Bay Area musicians José Roberto Hernández on guitar, Román Ito Carrillo on drums, Brian Rice on Brazilian pandeiro, Gabriela Quintana-García on vocals, and Surprise Guests to be announced!
The concert will be a serenata of tropical string music from the mountains of Puerto Rico (música jíbara) and the mountains of Brazil (choro music), samba as well as Caribbean and Latin-American classics.
As Nelson Saavedra won't be able to join us, we will end the concert with a Big Band set instead.
