Light Sensitive by Jim Geoghan is a touching romantic comedy about Tom, a bitter blind ex-cabbie, whose world changes when Edna, a spirited volunteer who comes to read to him, enters his life. With the help of his brash friend Lou, the unlikely trio discovers humor, healing, and the power of unexpected love.
Casting Requirements:
• Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
• A résumé and headshot are not required but are appreciated.
• Please provide a list of all known conflicts between Oct 14 & Dec 14, 2025
-) Tom:
(40-60) A blind, bitter ex-cabbie whose rough exterior hides a longing for connection.
-) Lou:
(35-55) Tom’s brash, wisecracking best friend who masks loyalty with humor.
-) Edna:
(35-55) A spirited volunteer whose warmth and persistence bring light into Tom’s life.
*The age range of the characters are suggestions. The age of the actor isn't as important as the ability to embody the character.

Note: We will not have rehearsals the weekend of Thanksgiving. Full tech rehearsals will begin on the following Monday.
