Open Artist Workshop

A great meetup, discussion group and work session for artists.

$3-$20 Donation with membership! Membership to CAW is $10/month Otherwise, $20 drop in fee plz and thank you.

Attendees generally know at least the basics of drawing or painting and/or have some experience presenting and selling art.

We start with an non-beginner art exercise to warm up, (for instance, gesture drawing), and then we have a presentation, art-share and/or discussion about an art topic:

• Pushing through artist block
• Social Media and art
• Current art trends and shows
• Experiences at Art Associations or Markets
• How to set up artworks for print

And then we have a long work session towards the end. Basic art supplies are available, but bring your own if you want better quality.
