Speakers: Shirley Anderson and Ken Wiersema
For more than eleven years, Shirley and Ken have combined her deep background in biology with his trademark whimsy to create their “inside story” program.
This updated program will concentrate on the physical features and senses unique to birds, examining how birds eat, digest, see, breathe, sing, hear, reproduce, and fly—as well as how and where birds are attracted to the microclimates and habitats of the Olympic Peninsula. Suggested donation: $5 to support our education programs. Learn more at https://olympicpeninsulaaudubon.org/events-calendar/opas-backyard-birding-birds-the-inside-story
