Opalka Gallery Pop-Up Beer Garden - featuring Swamp Baby (Opener: JJ's OK)

Born in Albany/Troy New York, on an uncommonly humid night, Swamp Baby began as a spooky, mystical, chamber-pop quartet. Over the course of its strange, nearly 20 year lifespan the Baby has waded through many murky genres and consumed multiple, gifted, supporting players. In this latest iteration—laying roots-rock grooves over American dream splattered landscapes—Swamp Baby pours some whiskey in its milk bottle and eavesdrops on the stories of the dimly lit folks at end of the bar.
