Opal Lawrence Historical Park Guided Tour

Opal Lawrence Historical Park offers daily tours of the Lawrence family farmhouse. Originally built in 1874, the family lived in the house for over 120 years. Guests can explore house and outbuildings, seeing how people lived in the then rural Mesquite area during an 1.5 hour guided tour. Of the original 640 acre farm, 13 acres remain today and include an 1886 barn, root cellar, chickencoops, and an 1845 log cabin from the area.
