Opal Lawrence Historical Park offers field trips for students to learn about life and farming in late nineteenth century rural Texas.
About this Event

Field trips at Opal Lawrence Historical Park includes programming includes learning about what a farm is and the work done on them, touring the 1870s family farmhouse to see how the family lived, and learning about Mesquite's natural history.

The 13-acre parks also allows students space to run around and engage with nature.

The 3.5 hour program (plus lunch break) is desigend for 3rd graders and up. The field trip program is great for public and private schools, as well as homeschool groups and daycares.
