Ontonio Kareem is one of those comics who just has it. We’ve built our reputation by booking comedians right before the rest of the world catches on — and if you’ve ever wanted to say “I saw them when,” this is your when.

Secret Society Comedy transforms unique spaces into a pop-up comedy club, featuring nationally touring headliners alongside the best regional and local talent. No two shows are the same — different rooms, different vibes, always a high-level comedy experience.

Past headliners include comedians who went on to appear on The Daily Show, Saturday Night Live, Netflix, America’s Got Talent, The Joe Rogan Experience, Hacks, and major festivals like Just For Laughs — often shortly after performing on our stage. We’re in on stand-up’s best-kept secrets so you can be too.

Stella’s Art Gallery is the perfect setting for a “secret” stand-up show. Come early to browse through the gallery, settle in, and enjoy an intimate night of live comedy inside a working art space.

As a show attendee, you’ll have exclusive access to discounted artwork and studio shopping at Stella’s from 6:00–10:00 PM, available only to guests of the show.

Some beer, seltzers, and wine will be available for a suggested donation (benefiting the gallery), and guests are also welcome to BYOB.

About The Headliner:

Ontonio Kareem is a New York based comedian, writer, actor and music producer under the moniker KIRA. Ontonio’s awkward upbringing in Chicago is to blame for his uniquely introspective and subdued art style. His unique comedy has gained national attention, leading him to appear on Don't Tell Comedy and tour nationally. In additon, is currently touring with Abbott Elementary's Janelle James and has opened for the likes of Roy Wood Jr, Craig Robinson, and Chris Redd.
Ontonio's has amassed millions of views on Instagram/Tik Tok and is currently a staple in New York comedy clubs and festivals across the US including Moontower and a New York Comedy Festival Half Hour. You can also catch him in his role as DJ on NBC's Chicago Fire
