OWLE's annual training day is open to all Sworn and Civilian law enforcement members (women and men) and to our policing partners. Get your tickets today! Great opportunity to learn and network with Policing Professionals from across the Province!
Location: Pearson Convention Center, 2638 Steeles Avenue East, Brampton, Ontario, L6S 6J9. Free parking.
Registration: 7:30am - 8:00am
Event: 8:00am - 3:00pm.
Cost: $85 OWLE Members (Valid paid OWLE Membership required) and $100 Non-Members.
Includes: Light breakfast, lunch, free wi-fi. The host kitchen can only accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free meals. Please indicate meal choice when registering.

Retired LEO Agent Ashley Ferris - In 2021, Agent Ashley Ferris became involved in a shootout with a suspect who had shot 7 people (including Ferris), killing 5. Agent Ferris continued fighting and shot and killed the suspect ending his murderous rampage. Identify and combat signs of depression while developing resiliency through a focus on their greater purpose.
Carmen Theobald from Horse Sense North - Leading yourself with Grace. The Grace Framework consists of five essential questions and practices for leading yourself to wellness that work in the moment and not just during annual leave.
Project 3PO (Protecting Public Facing Professionals and their Dependents Online) - Informed by academic research from the United Kingdom, the Toronto Police Service has developed a strategy to address the risks of online harms faced by its members. This includes Online Harms Training, which provides practical tips and skills to help members protect themselves and their families online.
