Format: All play with hickory/wooden-shafted clubs (pre-1935 clubheads, original or replica). Hickory loaner clubsets are available by advanced booking.
4 Divisions: Open; Senior (55-69 yrs); Legends (70+yrs); & Ladies.
Individual Champions Competition (2-day stroke play/36 holes total). Medals/Prizes for both Gross & Net Scores. New for 2025 are Hickory Tourney Rookie Awards. One-day tourney registrations are also accepted.
Daily Itinerary - Whirlpool Golf Course – Championship Hickory Play
7:45 a.m. - Participants arrive, check in and confirm registry/rules.
8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. - play commences based upon preset tee times for each foursome
Post-round – bragging sessions and “happy hour” at the clubhouse restaurant.
Sat 7:00-9:00 p.m. – Informal Dinner and gathering/mixer reserved at a Niagara Falls restaurant, TBA.
Pay-as-you-go, reservation is requested for seating numbers during registration.
Sunday 3:30 p.m. – Tournament results and Prizes awarded.
Pricing: All prices include green fees, prizes and are paid via online registration. Power carts extra charge.
Members of GHSC/SOHG/GHS – $225 for men’s 2 days; $135 for 1 day.
Non-members – pay a $20 non-refundable surcharge.
Ladies Special: $185 for 2 days; $120 for 1 day. No ladies’surcharge fees.
Optional Friday hickory fun warm-up event, details TBA, register online & pay at the course.

Hotel Information:
Note: This year, no special block of hotel rooms has been reserved for tournament golfers or guests. Players are responsible for their own hotel arrangements and bookings. You are free to book any hotels/lodging to your liking in the Niagara Falls area on your own accord. Most of the larger hotel chains, closer to the Casinos & the Falls are in the $350-$600/day CDN range. A few hotels near the tournament venue at Niagara Whirlpool GC are listed below.
