French producer Onra possesses a rare gift for transforming forgotten sounds into the trendiest grooves. Heavily influenced by 80s and 90s Pop, Jazz, and Soul, his music carries a warm vinyl texture—a seamless interlacing of delicate melodies and laid-back beats.
His most captivating work remains the Chinoiseries trilogy, where he reimagines the "old soul" of the East. By blending 60s Chinese opera and film scores into avant-garde beatscapes, he created legendary tracks like "The Anthem," allowing traditional sounds to shine within contemporary hip-hop culture.
