For this edition we are happy to bring you Wesley & Rachel , originally from Betim - Brazil, had his first contact with dance through hip hop & Brazilian street dancing classes. In 2011 he became a Bolsista (scholarship student) at Dance Days Betim Academy where he studied Zouk and other Brazilian dance styles. Rachel started classical ballet at the age of 5 and danced in the South Australian Children's Ballet Company until she was 18. Then in 2014 she began to study Brazilian Zouk. Currently they are the Directors of Adelaide’s, The Latin Dance HQ, where they teach, train and host events. They have a passion for sharing Brazilian dance, constantly developing their own skill set and passing on their knowledge to build Brazilian Zouk in Australia and the wider community. Simply, they love what they do!
Because we want to offer you more value, we would also like to offer a half-hour Kizomba class with Ming & Ru.from "ADELAIDE KIZOMBA MOVEMENT".Since 2023, Ming & Ru have been instrumental in fostering the growth of Kizomba in Adelaide, dedicating their efforts to cultivate a vibrant and passionate dance community. Their deep understanding and commitment to this soulful art form are rooted in rigorous training, having learned directly from some of the world's most renowned Kizomba instructors. This continuous pursuit of excellence and their unwavering focus on elevating their craft was spectacularly celebrated when they were crowned the 2024 Australian Kizomba champions, a testament to their skill, dedication, and artistry. Even with this national accolade, Ming & Ru remain steadfast in their mission to continuously refine their own artistry and further expand Kizomba's reach and beauty throughout Adelaide.
