Online Safety and Scam Prevention (Including Romance Scams and Phishing)

Scam artists and fraudsters look for ways to take advantage of consumers. Even online dating, while it can be a helpful way to meet people, also carries real risks, including scams, harassment, and identity theft, so staying alert and protecting your personal information is essential.

Internet safety plays an important role in the modern digital world and the risks involved in online interactions are always evolving as technology advances.

Adults and children alike need to take the initiative to protect themselves online to address these issues. As people spend more of their time online, there is a greater chance that predators, criminals, and even fraudsters can take advantage of them.
