Join us for a special community screening of One Track Heart: The Story of Krishna Das, followed by a conversation with director Jeremy Frindel.

The film follows the journey of Jeffrey Kagel, who leaves behind the possibility of a conventional music career and travels to India in search of something deeper. There, he encounters Neem Karoli Baba, known lovingly as Maharaj-ji, and begins a path that eventually leads him to become Krishna Das, one of the most beloved voices in modern kirtan and devotional music.

At its heart, this is a film about longing, heartbreak, devotion, music, and the search for what is real. It speaks to the ways life can break us open, the teachers and moments that change us, and the mystery of finding our way home through love.

After the screening, Jeremy will join us for a conversation about the film, the journey behind it, and the themes it opens up. There will also be space for community reflection and questions.

You do not need to know anything about kirtan, yoga, Hinduism, or meditation to attend. Come as you are.

What to Expect
We’ll gather, watch the film together, and then have a relaxed conversation with Jeremy Frindel. The space will be open, respectful, and rooted in the spirit of community. There is no pressure to share.
