Power duo One Third Wish (Linda Cote and Kimberly Spath) is celebrating 20 years of performances in the DMV area with a very special show featuring a full band (Jess McQuay on drums and Adrian Cox on bass). There will also be many surprises and special guest appearances by members of the Magical Mystery Girls and other area musicians. Expect to hear your favorite covers as well as originals - this full band anniversary show is one night only and will not be performed anywhere else!

One Third Wish is an acoustic/electric rock duo featuring Linda Cote (acoustic guitar, percussion and vocals) and Kimberly Spath (electric guitar and vocals). Both Linda and Kim have worked in the mid-Atlantic region in various musical projects for over 25 years, including many different rock bands performing both originals and covers. They are both professional, classically-trained musicians who have also played in regional theatre orchestras for dozens of musical productions (Linda on bass and Kim on guitar), and they are currently members of the acclaimed all-female Beatles tribute band, The Magical Mystery Girls. They have been performing as One Third Wish since 2007 and released their self-titled CD of originals in 2015. They perform everything live and do not use any pre-recorded tracks. One Third Wish is known for their full sound, tight harmonies, musicianship, and unique arrangements of songs not typically performed by a duo. Their extensive song list features classic rock from the 60's through to the 2000's such as Tom Petty, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, and Foo Fighters, alternative rock (Radiohead, The Clash, Fiona Apple, Talking Heads), oldies (Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash) and more recent hits by artists such as John Mayer, Mumford and Sons, Elle King, and Kings of Leon. They have played regularly at several area venues for over 12 years, including O'Lordan's Irish Pub (Westminister), Outta the Way Café (Rockville/Derwood), Oscar's Alehouse (Eldersburg) and many others.
