The Marked Bar & Grill was built from years of passion, hard work, and a love for bringing people together. But it was never just about the food, the music, or the space itself. It became what it was because of every single person who walked through those doors.
You turned this place into something alive.
From the very beginning, I believed that food was a way to hug people without using your arms. I hope that every meal, every drink, every late night, every laugh, and every song felt like that — like you were part of something that cared about you. Because you were.
Somewhere along the way, The Marked stopped being about us and became about you. The regulars who felt like family. The new faces who quickly became friends. The musicians who filled the room with life. The conversations, the celebrations, the moments big and small — all of it mattered because you made it matter.
Now, it’s time for a new chapter. Deanna, Ozzy, and Vicky are passing the torch, and the bar will soon become something new under new ownership. They’ll be changing everything, even the name. But what can never be changed is what you built here — the memories, the friendships, and the spirit that made this place feel like home.
And before we say goodbye, we’re going to celebrate the only way we know how — together.
We’re throwing one last, week-long party filled with live music, laughter, and everything that made The Marked what it was. This isn’t just a send-off for a bar — it’s a celebration of all of you.
