We are all crushed at the loss of our pal Dennis "Mr. Mint" McDermott. He's been a fixture in the Detroit comic book scene for 40 years, spending the first 20 of those at Classic Comics & Movie Center and the last 20 at Back to the Past. In all that time, he's known thousands of people and touched so many lives.We wanted to commemorate our friend in a way that he would have loved, so let's get together for one more Wednesday night with Denny on July 10th at Mason's in Livonia. We will kick things off at 6pm and will run until everybody's had a chance to share.
Please bring your stories and memories of Denny and any photos or mementos you'd like to share. Send digital photos to Scott as we will have a screen up rotating through our favorite Mr. Mint pictures and we would love to add yours.
Although we are not looking for an exact head count, we would like to give Mason's some idea of the crowd size we might expect, so please RSVP to this event and let us know if you do plan to attend.
