This one means a little more to me than just throwing another party. After all, this is what started the dream....
One Eyed Jack’s was a huge part of my childhood. I grew up around that place, and eventually got the opportunity to work there myself. I made friendships and memories there that I’ll carry with me forever.
One Eyed Jack’s was also a place my Mom truly loved. She loved that bar and all of the people in it.
To have the chance to bring so many of those people back together now, inside a bar that carries the dream started at OEJ makes this night pretty damn special to me.
Of course there was no better band to bring back some of those old One Eyed Jack’s memories than the one and only Headz Up!
If you spent any time at OEJ back in the day, chances are you remember plenty of nights with these guys on stage.
A huge shoutout to Steve & Jan for creating a place that became so much more than four walls and a bar. For a lot of us, it was a second home. The friendships, stories and memories made there are still alive all these years later.
So we’re getting the crew back together.
Old regulars. Bartenders. Servers. Cooks. Musicians. Friends. Family. And anybody who has a One Eyed Jack’s story to tell.
Come see some faces you haven’t seen in years, have a few drinks, listen to Headz Up tear it up again, and celebrate a place that meant a hell of a lot to a hell of a lot of people.
