Our One Day Intro program is an ideal introduction to our Equine-Assisted mental health healing through learning horsemanship skills working with our Thoroughbred ex-racehorses. Experience our unique approach and the powerful impact of healing mental health issues stemming from post-traumatic stress injuries incurred through serving our community.
It is a low-key stepping stone into our Five Day Residential program, and an opportunity to see if Horse Aid is a right fit for you. No pressure. No judgement. No expectations.
Times: One day, 9.30am to 3.30pm approx
Food: Includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks (come hungry)
Accommodation: NA
Where: Hunter Valley, NSW. Address provided on acceptance into program.
Price: Free for serving and ex-serving defence personnel
Booking Fee: $50 refundable if attend program
Horse experience required: Nil. All work is on the ground and no riding in this program
