Join us for an immersive one-day workshop on canine detection, also known as scent detection or scent work—similar to how police dogs detect drugs or explosives. This hands-on training is open to all experience levels and will introduce participants to the fundamentals of teaching a dog to identify and respond to legal odors.WHAT TO EXPECT
A strong emphasis on reading and interpreting your dog’s signals during detection.
Training techniques that are non-compulsive and reward-based to encourage learning and success.
A mix of classroom instruction and fieldwork tailored to each dog-handler team.
