This is a West Kentucky Community and Technical College and McCracken County Public Library Community Event!Join Dr. Russell and One Book Read committee members for an engaging discussion of the 2024-2025 WKCTC One Book Read, A Pearl in the Storm, by Tori Murden McClure, the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean. A memoir filled with joy, pain, suffering, and romance amidst tragedy, the book makes you feel as if you were rowing right alongside her, surrounded by sea creatures and the beauty and peril of the ocean.
