Join Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources for a special One Book One Community author event with Patrick Bringley, New York Times bestselling author of All the Beauty in the World.Bringley’s acclaimed memoir reflects on his 10 years working as a guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, offering thoughtful insights on art, grief and the quiet beauty of daily life. The book was named one of the best books of the year by the New York Public Library (Audible) and The Sunday Times (London), and is an international bestseller translated worldwide.
During the event, Bringley will speak about his book and experiences, followed by a book signing. Books will be available for purchase.
This event is free and open to the public.
