The P&P Players return to The Spire, Poole with their popular One Act Plays. Our first play is comedy "Eight Seconds", by Stephen Scheurer-Smith, followed by the David Tristram comic-drama, "Women Only".Performances at The Spire, High Street, Poole on Thursday 24th & Friday 25th October at 7:30pm and Saturday 26th October at 2:30pm.

The average doctor interrupts their patient after eight seconds. Gordon Bryson is not the average doctor. He's much ruder.
Can this old fashioned locum, whose bedside manners leads to complete misdiagnosis of his patients, change his ways and finally uncover the true reasons for their visits?

After a stressful year for both of them, divorcee Laura decides to take her recently widowed mother, Ruth, on a much-needed holiday. A few gin and tonics later, Laura's whole world is turned upside down. But as the extraordinary revelations start to fly, will there be an unexpected twist?
