Experience autumn with all your senses for children and family
Musically accompanied by Elena Riedel on the bansuri, among others
Annet loves nature and has been sharing this with stories, especially about plants, since 2018. In this storytelling especially for children, a few animals also play a role, living together with the plants and feeling autumn approaching... The children are invited to join in with the music by crunching the leaves and letting their breath roar like the wind, at set times.
After the storytelling performance, we will make beautiful prints of autumn leaves together (you may bring your favourite leaf for this!) with natural ochre tones. Warm earth colours that have been used by people here since prehistoric times!
Annet Breure has been dancing since 2007 and started teaching young and old in 2013. In 2018, she founded Plant Stories in which she combines her love of stories and nature, aiming to deepen and broaden our relationship with plants, as well as historical stories. For Autumn in the Highlights, she is creating a new story especially for the children coming to Munganga. From 2002 to 2007, she worked in 'prehistory' at historical theme park Archeon, from here comes her experience of using ochre.
