Once upon a time in Chamarajpet.
Join us for a heritage walk through Bengaluru's first planned extension, developed under the patronage of the Maharaja of Mysore and named after one of the illustrious Wodeyar rulers. Once home to many notable personalities, this elegant neighbourhood has countless stories to tell.
One of India's earliest planned localities, it was laid out on a pioneering grid pattern with broad, tree-lined avenues and an organised network of main and cross roads. Along the way, we'll explore its historic homes, churches, temples, schools, hospitals, and other landmarks.
The walk includes visits to two historic and unique temples which remind you of Tirupathi & Rameshwaram, a beautiful park, one of Bengaluru's most picturesque schools, and concludes with breakfast at one of the city's most iconic restaurants.
If you're free this weekend, join us for a memorable morning of history, heritage, and great food.
