Get dressed in your finest, gather your friends and family. And come together to celebrate Onam at Kerala's very own, Chefs Hatted, Babajis Kerala Kitchen. We'll be running Onam at both our restaurants this year.
For the families, we invite you to Babajis WARBURTON for a family friendly Onam the weekend of 14-15 Sep. Kids games, face painting and even visits from our very own Puli!
Meanwhile at Belgrave, we'll be running our much loved Onam Sadya festival...cosy, atmospheric and very Babajis x

For the Aussies: 'What the heck is Onam and am I invited'?
Onam is the annual 'Harvest Festival' of the Southern Indian home state, Kerala. It's a time when Keralans come together, no matter our background, to enjoy great food and celebrate with mates. It's sorta like our Christmas but everyone is invited!
You are DEFINITELY invited. x
The star of the show is the 'Onam Sadya' - a dish served on fresh banana leaf with 20 authentic Kerala dishes. It takes days to prepare our Onam feast, each vegetable hand cut with intention. From plantain to taro, snakebean and wintermelon, the freshest vegetables are sourced, Kerala stir fries, pachadis, curries & daals created. Traditionally vegetarian, a range of optional Kerala meat sides will be available. Experience 'traditional serving', your plate always piled abundantly high.
