Ready… set… GLOW!Join Morehead City Parks and Recreation on Friday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. for a free, untimed 2-mile Family Fun Run at M.A.T.S. Trail along Bridges Street!
This glowing good time is the perfect opportunity to get outside with family and friends while discovering (or rediscovering!) one of Morehead City’s hidden gems. This out and back run will begin at SaltWorx, 4206 Bridges St., and head toward West Carteret High School. The turn around point will be at the 1-mile mark, where Parks & Recreation staff members will be waiting to direct you.
We’ll provide plenty of fun glow items, and participants are encouraged to bring flashlights or headlamps to help brighten the path. This event is free and open to all ages.
Games, glow face painting, and music will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the race starting promptly at 7 p.m.
The Start/Finish line and parking will be available at SaltWorx, at 4206 Bridges St.
Lace up, get moving, and help us light up the M.A.T.S. Trail like never before! Advanced glow run registration is recommended online, but not required, as day-of registration will also be available.
