About this Event

This course is designed for civilians and professionals alike who are tasked with being a first responder to a witnessed traumatic injury. Sometimes you can’t avoid being involved in someone’s worst day. This could be a motor vehicle accident, a farming accident, gun shot wound, stabbing, open fractures, or something else. At the end of this course you will have been exposed to numerous types of traumatic injury and should have a better understanding of how to deal with the issue at hand.

There will be simulated blood, sensitive topics and potentially stressful simulations. Students should wear clothes that they aren't afraid of getting ruined by food coloring and sticky substances. Class will contain both indoor and outdoor portions.
Class is taught by current and active first responders.
Each student will receive a training tourniquet, a rescue device to aid in entering or exiting a vehicle and a seatbelt cutter.

Refreshments and raffles available.
