The @Puerto Rican Cultural Association of Bucks County proudly hosts their annual festival at the Bristol Borough waterfront with cultural music, dance groups, vendors, food and activities.BCGS will be available to festival guests to assist with their family history research in Puerto Rico (or anywhere else in the world). Stop by our table for free guidance, record lookups, handouts, and a pedigree chart in English or Spanish.
Discovering your roots in Puerto Rico can cost you nothing but your time, and from the comfort of your home. Learn how to access these church, civil and census records free online.
Chat with Genetic Genealogist Cathy Ivins, who visited family in Puerto Rico in 2022, after building her husband’s tree and finding family using online records and DNA. Guests can chat with Cathy to learn more about their Boricuan genes, which can include Indigenous (Taíno) Puerto Rican, Mesoamerican, Iberian (Spain, Portugal), and African ancestry.
You can also check out the family trees and records we have on many celebrities, musicians and athletes, including a poster of baseball legend Roberto Clemente!!
