📻🎙️ ON THE AIR! – A Veterans Day Special
An Old-Time Radio Comedy Show & Luncheon
The year is 1944, the microphones are hot, the commercials are questionable, and anything can happen when we're ON THE AIR!
Join Acting Up Fantasy Events for an afternoon of laughter, music, and a little old-fashioned radio mischief as we bring the golden age of radio to life!
Become part of our live studio audience for a 1940s-inspired variety show packed with quick-witted comedy, colorful characters, toe-tapping music, ridiculous vintage commercials, and live sound effects made the old-fashioned way. (Let's just say our sound effects department has a very creative use for household objects.)
From wisecracking radio hosts to jingles you won't be able to get out of your head, it's a nostalgic trip back to a time when entertainment didn't need a screen—and absolutely anything could go wrong on live radio!
🇺🇸 **A Special Salute to Our Veterans**
Amid the laughter, we'll take a moment to honor the men and women who have served our country, celebrating their courage, sacrifice, and the spirit of a generation that knew how to find joy even during difficult times.
🍽️ Dinner and a show? Not this time!
We're turning back the clock for a good old-fashioned afternoon luncheon! Your ticket includes a delicious two-course meal and a live theatrical performance, all served with a generous helping of nostalgia.
📅 November 11 & 15, 2026
🕜 1:30 PM
📍 Continuum Art | Downtown Hendersonville, NC
Bring your parents, grandparents, favorite veteran, or anyone who appreciates a good laugh and a little 1940s charm.
No radio required. Just bring your appetite and your sense of humor! 🎙️
