About this Event

[On-site] Advanced Space Exploration 1-day Course at YES!Delft

Join ICEE.Space – Isolated Confined Extreme Environments – in Space at YES!Delft for a one-day professional course exploring the science, technology and engineering behind human and robotic exploration of the Moon and Mars.

Designed for professionals, researchers, engineers and graduate students in the space sector, the course covers the space environment, lunar geology, EVA suits, habitats and future exploration mission design.

Participants will develop an in-depth understanding of how environmental, geological and engineering constraints shape lunar and Martian mission design. They will examine the design drivers and trade-offs affecting EVA systems, habitats and mission architecture, and apply systems-engineering principles in a guided mission-design exercise informed by ECSS standards.

The course combines expert-led presentations, interactive discussions and collaborative group work. Participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Following the course, attendees are invited to a networking reception celebrating ICEE.Space’s latest space suit development milestone.

Attendance is limited to 30 participants. Lunch, drinks and snacks are included.
