Landing your first job in film and TV isn’t easy especially in an industry where recruitment moves at lightning speed. The creative world looks glamorous, but behind the scenes it’s long hours, tight deadlines, and serious hustle. Talent alone isn’t enough. You need real skills, confidence, and the right connections.

This is where On‑Set Survival Skills comes in.

From 9–20 February 2026, join a hands‑on, employer‑led programme designed to prepare you for entry‑level roles like Runner and Production Assistant. This is your chance to learn directly from industry professionals, build practical on‑set skills, and understand how to navigate the fast‑paced world of production.

Across two weeks, you’ll gain real‑world insights and experience in:

🎬 On‑set responsibilities & etiquette
🧯 Health & Safety + call sheets
📝 CV and career development support
🎥 Content creation & post‑production basics
💰 Financial literacy for freelancers (You Are A Business)
⛑️ First Aid training

Plus --> a surprise site visit to a production and kit‑hire company so you can see how the industry operates up close.

This programme is delivered in partnership with Running Films Production, giving you:

Eligibility

• 18+ currently Not in Education, Employment or Training.
• Resident of Brent, Ealing or Hammersmith & Fulham
• Interested in the creative industries, particularly film, TV and creative production
• Able to commit to the full two week programme
