***** On My Mind - Karaoke for a Cause
What’s On Your Mind?
The things you can’t say
The thoughts you can’t switch off
The emotions you carry
Love
Fear
Anger
Happiness
Stress
A night to sing, connect, and give back!
About the Event
“***** ON MY MIND!” is a karaoke evening built around different themes. Every single person in attendance may carry a different emotion from joy to sorrow on their mind, but they’re here for the same reason as everyone else. The idea is simply to create an evening where people can come together, sing their favourite songs, meet new people, and enjoy themselves while supporting a meaningful cause. For this edition, every ticket purchased will contribute towards supporting educational initiatives through the URJA-Energy.
About Us
We are a team of interns with The Fear Project School, Sanation, and the URJA-Energy. We're working on community-led initiatives that bring together mental well-being, education, and meaningful social impact. This fundraiser is one of those initiatives, and we would be grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with your venue to make it happen.
The Cause
All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards supporting the work of the URJA Foundation. Founded in 2013 by Mrs. Raka Singh, URJA works with rural communities through education, women's empowerment, health initiatives, livelihood training, and sustainable development. One of its key focuses is creating better educational opportunities for children through innovative learning programmes and community-driven projects. As psychology students, education and mental well-being are causes we're deeply passionate about, which is why this collaboration feels especially meaningful to us.
About Sanation
This event is also being organised in collaboration with Sanation, an educational initiative
founded by Sanah Thakur.
Sanation focuses on making psychology, neuroscience, and self-understanding accessible
through engaging educational experiences. Together with URJA, Sanation has been working
on initiatives such as the Brain Science Club, introducing children up to 12 years of age to
neuroscience, emotions, memory, and learning in fun and interactive ways.
The Experience
We're hoping to create a lively and enjoyable evening where people can sing, cheer each other on, meet new people, and enjoy the atmosphere that your venue is already known for. With great music, a unique ambience and a welcoming space, we hope to create an event that's memorable and centred around giving back.
