About this Event

The Manchester Village Pride Parade 2026 will take place on Saturday 29th August from 12pm. And we’d love you to join us! We have 75 (free) places available. We’ll need to congregate a little earlier than that, so we’re asking everyone to meet at Unit 17 at We Are Survivors beforehand for a breakfast briefing from 9.30am.

Meeting at Unit 17 is mandatory to take part, as we need to adhere to safety standards and ensure we have accurate numbers.

The Parade starts at around 12pm and typically finishes around 3pm-4pm. Once we’ve set off on the route, it usually takes 60-90 minutes to travel the route. Wear comfortable walking shoes/trainers!

We’ll be asking participants to hand out ON IT postcards and stickers, carry our placards and flags and hold our parade banner at the front of our walking entry.

All volunteers must be 18 or over. The ON IT campaign deals with adult issues around chems, sex, HIV and consent. Please do not hand any materials to children. We will be directing any enquiries about the campaign to the website at www.onit.org.uk

Alcohol is not permitted at any time during your time volunteering and marching with us.

Taking part in the Parade does not permit entry into the Manchester Village Pride event site.
