On-Demand Film Screening: Fixing Food Film Fest

Growing, processing, packaging, and transporting food requires enormous amounts of energy, water, and other resources. Fortunately, intrepid innovators from across the country are recognizing and exploring solutions to the challenges of growing our nation’s food, all with a smaller ecological footprint.

This Thanksgiving season treat you and your family to some good news updates from the environmental front… and plant some trees at the same time! Our two featured films, FIXING FOOD and FIXING FOOD 2, present nine short stories of people who are working to lower our carbon footprint with impactful new ways to gather and prepare the nutritious food we need.

The specific stories focus on important areas where changes are happening, such as farming in the ocean and the air, finding new food sources, learning from Indigenous agriculture, and reducing waste.
