A practical on-camera class for self-tape auditions — building real camera confidence through film and TV sides, live redirects, taping, and playback.

In person at diez Gallery in Amsterdam
This class is for actors who want to feel more confident on camera, create stronger self-tapes, and build a repeatable audition process they can use at home.
Each class uses film and television audition sides as the foundation for practical on-camera work. Actors will work live, receive coaching and redirection, tape again, and watch playback to see exactly what changed.
You can join for one class, several classes, or all summer dates. Each class is a standalone session.
What we work on:
Framing and composition for self-tapes
Lighting setup and eye-line placement
Physical behavior and stillness on camera
Props and how to use them inside the frame
Working with redirects without overthinking
Making clear, grounded choices on camera
Understanding what the camera actually sees
Taping, playback, and noticing what changed
Working with film and TV audition sides
Building a repeatable self-tape process
How to participate:
Bring prepared sides
Bring a prepared film or TV scene, ideally around two pages. A past audition you want to revisit works well.
Revisit a previous tape
Bring an audition tape you were not satisfied with. We will watch it, work the material live, apply redirection, and tape again.
Request material from Dustin
No material ready? Dustin can provide short film or TV sides. Please request material at least 48 hours before class.
