OmniRide Community Open House in Woodbridge

Community members, partners, and local stakeholders are invited to join OmniRide for a special 40th Anniversary Community Open House at its Transit Center as the organization celebrates four decades of serving residents in Prince William County.

The first celebration will take place on Wednesday, September 23, from 4 PM to 8 PM, at the Transit Center, 14700 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, Virginia. The free, family-friendly event will offer the public an opportunity to learn more about the organization’s history, services, and ongoing commitment to the communities it serves. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities and attractions, including:

* Live DJ entertainment

* Children's activities

* Community vendor exhibits

* “OmniRide Showcase” special exhibit

* Food truck and snacks, cake cutting

* Time Capsule Celebration (Transit Center Only)

* Bus Rides

* Facility Tours

*Raffles and giveaways

The open house will highlight the organization's 40-year history and provide attendees with opportunities to connect with staff, learn about available services, and engage with community partners. Donations benefiting the Northern Virginia Food Rescue will also be accepted during the event as we try to stuff their van with:

• Canned veggies (green beans, carrots, etc)

• Canned or dry beans (black beans are preferred

• 1lb bag of rice

• Pasta- can be mac and cheese or spaghetti

• Soups

• Fun items- fruit snacks or granola bars
