OMNIFIX Clothing Repair Workshop - Morning Slot

Born out of demand from Hackney Wick Locals, OMNIFIX is redefining the culture of aftercare but bringing back the celebration of craft and skill needed to look after one’s items. Asya Ter-Hovakimyan is a maker with over 15 years of experience, a trained designer and co-founder of London-based fashion brand OMNISS. So her approach to fashion care and the ethos at the core of OMNIFIX is routed in deep knowledge and respect for art of making, a love for craftsmanship and a good understanding of design and quality.

This workshop is designed to teach participants basic visible mending techniques, such as embroidery, to repair small holes, reaps and of course, smaller fixes such as buttons etc will also be welcome.

Please bring an item from the following list to repair during the workshop.

Item Recommendation List:

• Button-up shirts missing buttons or needing reinforcement.
• Knitwear with small holes or worn patches (e.g., sweaters, cardigans).
• Jeans or pants with minor tears or frays.
• T-shirts or light tops with small holes

We will provide all the materials and tools needed for this workshop.
