Shug’s is a Music & Art venue with a focus on original artists. We like to feature different artists during our OMM. The featured artist performs for 30 minutes at 9:15 and is compensated for their time and talent.

MA is a half-Vietnamese independent singer/songwriter based in Charlotte, NC. A self-proclaimed truth-seeker and world-maker, he aims to capture the realities of the human experience and to help others imagine a better world. Pulling from an eclectic blend of indie rock, R&B/soul, and folk influences, Ma’s style is defined by his powerful vocals, distinctive guitar playing, and clever lyricism.
