About this Event
In October 2025, Hurricane Melissa tested the resilience of Montego Bay. In October 2026, the Men of Omega Psi Phi respond by establishing their own sovereign standard of service and perseverance. We are chartering Omicron Xi Nu Chapter; born from resilience, dedicated to our youth and the uplift of our community.
From October 8 –12, 2026, join the Men of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. as we officially plant the banner of the Omicron Xi Nu (OXiN) Chapter in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Known as the "Reggae Quez," our chapter is establishing a presence of leadership, scholarship, and community resilience in Jamaica.
This is not just a weekend—it is a mission-driven immersion into the heart of Jamaica. Following the resilience shown during Hurricane Melissa, we aim to gather 1,000+ brothers, D-9 members, family, friends, supporters, and community leaders to celebrate our formal investiture and pour back into the Montego Bay community.

Info: On Saturday morning, we execute a high-fidelity visitation to The Melody House, a cornerstone of resilience for young women in Montego Bay.
This is an exclusive, intimate engagement designed to foster a direct connection between the Fraternity’s senior leadership and the community we serve.
The Mission:
A formal meet-and-greet featuring the Grand Basileus, the 13th District Representative, and the Chartering Brothers of Omicron Xi Nu.
Presentation of the Chapter’s donation to support the Melody House mission.
Mentorship and fellowship intended to reinforce the bonds between the "Reggae Quez" and the St. James Parish.
To maintain an intimate and impactful environment for the residents, this deployment is restricted to the Chartering Members, Senior Fraternity Leadership, and Executive Staff. All other visiting supporters are encouraged to use this time for personal fellowship, donating blood, exploring MoBay, or preparing for the evening’s Chartering Ceremony Banquet.

The Mission:
