Fusion Practica is our new (or newly revied?!) Wednesday night gathering for dancers who love to blend styles, follow the music wherever it takes them, and connect with a floor full of open-minded movers. Whether you're a seasoned social dancer or you've only ever stuck to one style, this is your invitation to explore.
What's a "practica"?
Think of it as a relaxed, low-pressure practice social — not a class, not a formal social dance. It's open floor time to try new moves, dance with new partners, experiment with blending styles, and get comfortable improvising to different rhythms. No judgment, no pressure — just music, movement, and connection.
What to expect:
-Start off with a 30 min Introductory Dance Lesson with Goodhart's Dancin' at 7:30pm sharp!
-An eclectic mix of music spanning blues, salsa, bachata, tango, West Coast Swing, contemporary and more.. all DJed by Scott Goodhart!
-A friendly, welcoming crowd — all levels welcome, no partner required
-Space to experiment, ask questions, and grow as a dancer
-No outside / street shoes please! Either clean dance shoes, no shoes, or just socks!
*This is a Fragrance free zone, no strong colognes, perfumes, etc please.
$15 Entry Fee- Cash or Venmo at the door
or
$5 Entry Fee if coming from Scott's 6:30PM Beyond Beginner's Class!
7:15pm Doors Open
7:30pm Introductory Lesson w/ Scott Goodhart
8:30pm Practica Dance
10:00pm Doors Close
