Join instructor and plant mom Kim Bigard for a creative session of macrame. Students will learn a few basic knots that can be utilized in a variety of ways to create artistic and imaginative macrame designs, and double as functional art. Students will complete a macrame plant hanger, and learn how to use fiber-reactive dyes to create an ombre effect for a colorful punch to their houseplants. Beginners are welcome and all supplies are provided.
The workshop will be held from 1-4 pm, Saturday, January 18, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant, MI.
