About this Event
Join us as we welcome writer, researcher, and creative Omari Souza to the AIGA NY stage for a conversation about his latest work, Design Against Racism, a historical and philosophical exploration of how design shapes, and has long shaped, the lives of underserved communities.
From the legacies of oppression embedded in our built and visual world, to the strategies designers can use to dismantle them, this is a book for anyone who believes creativity is a form of activism.
After the event, you’re invited to join us for a reception and signing of Design Against Racism: Creating Work that Transform Communities. A limited number of copies will be available for purchase before the event.
