Elevating Educators Event: Optimizing Your Lessons & Units

Become the educator you always wanted by enhancing your craft. Our seminar will create a space to workshop your curriculum by sharing techniques to support you in meeting objectives and improving outcomes. Bring a unit you would like to further develop by adding:

( 1) new strategies to support and evaluate content mastery in your classroom

( 2) complementary activities, projects, and field trips to aid in building understanding

( 3) optimize lesson objectives and incorporate skill-building exercises more accurately aligned to student's academic and developmental needs

( 4) connect content to contemporary culture and information relevant to the "every day"

( 5) compliment the curriculum by expanding lessons into other subject areas (interdisciplinary unit planning)

( 6) explore new resources to supplement the curriculum, challenge students, or differentiate for those in need of support or special services,

( 7) learn best practices from other educators in the room.

OBJECTIVES

Other Elevating Educator Seminars consist of topics designed to meet the following goals:

A) Spaces for teachers to discuss their classroom, curriculum, co-workers, and careers, and receive resources to complement the three C's.

(B) Places to converse over principal, parents and pupil needs or demands.

(C) Strategies to support teachers in engaging students and raising academic achievement

(D) Methods to support ourselves and students in organizing for success, goal setting, monitoring progress

(E) Supplements to aid parents in incorporating learning during after-school, recreation, or family time

(F) Opportunities to develop professionally, while candidly discussing career goals and needs

(G) Learn about new texts that support school, student, and teacher growth, as well as tools to organize, optimize, and enhance success.

(H) Making Space for our personal pursuits while implementing professional plans.

Support Services

You can sign up for one-on-one coaching onsite. Bring unit ideas and lessons to workshop at the event with a non-judgmental coach with the group or 1-on-1.

Bring your resume if you are interested in seeking new opportunities. Each event dedicates time to network with others.

FEE: $45/person for one ticket; bring a friend and purchase 2 tickets for $75. Must register in advance to be permitted into the building, or to receive Zoom link.
