During this OMAM Art Book Club meeting, we'll discuss Hamnet by Maggie O'Farrell, a 2020 historical fiction novel focusing on the 1596 death of William Shakespeare's 11-year-old son from the plague. It explores themes of grief, marriage, the healing power of love and art, and the untold story that inspired one of the greatest plays ever written, Hamlet.RSVPs are encouraged as refreshments will be provided. This program is included with museum admission, but is completely FREE for current OMAM members and US veterans. Come early to explore the exhibits, gift shop and gardens!
