Two events happening that day starting at 9:00am & 1:00pm. (Practice time available 30 minutes prior to each start time)$30 entry fee per pitcher per event ($20 to the prize fund, $10 to the GOHL facility expenses). Prize money/payouts depends on number of entries.
Open to all horseshoe pitchers to compete! Please pre-register ahead of time to be guaranteed a spot (only 3 courts) to play.
These are NHPA sanctioned events, all pitchers must have updated current membership to play.
80% handicap system using eShoe averages to make it fair for everyone of all skill levels.
Pitchers need to be checked-in at least 15 minutes prior to the start of each event. If running late or can't make it, please inform the tournament director in advance.
The tournaments will start on time as scheduled. Pitchers who are not present at start time will have to forfeit any missed games. Singles or doubles format will depend on number of entries.
9 or less pitchers will be a singles round robin. 10 or more pitchers will be doubles/partners. Need to have at least 4 or more pitchers signed up by the day before the tournaments, otherwise they could be canceled due to lack of entries.
Ties are 1/2 win, 1/2 loss. Play-off for 1st Place if needed.
Optional side pots: Omega "4 Shoe-Shootout" 🤠& 50/50 drawing!
If there's enough interest, there will be a 5:00pm singles tournament offered as well.
