Junior parkrun is partnering with Team GB to celebrate the Olympic movement and the power of sport.
We would love runners, walkers and volunteers to wear one of the Olympic Ring colours (blue, yellow, black, green, or red) to show their support, or to dress as their favourite Team GB athlete!
Free, timed 2km event for children aged 4 to 14. Run, walk, skip or jump your way round. Children must complete the course on foot. No bikes, scooters, wheeled shoes etc. Each child will need to register (for free) online and bring their parkrun ID on the day in order to get a finish time.
Register at :www.parkrun.org.uk/register/
Parents do not need to run with their children and are encouraged to volunteer at our event to keep the participants safe. No dogs allowed on the course. Please let the Run Director know if your child has special needs as we are expecting large crowds and this can be overwhelming for many [email protected]
Volunteers arrive at 08:30am and report to the desk near the Ladies toilet block in Hove Park. Participants arrive at 08:45am latest for a briefing and warm up. The run will start at 9am.
