Tour of Olmos Dam and the San Antonio Tunnel Inlet/Outlet
EWRI will be hosting a free tour event on Thursday, November 12th in San Antonio, Texas. EWRI in conjunction with the City of San Antonio will be offering an educational tour of the Olmos Dam starting at 9:00 AM. The group will then travel to see the San San Antonio River flood diversion tunnel inlet and outlet. The tunnel starts near Josephine Street and the outlet is located near Lone Star Boulevard.
The tour is free, but please be sure to select your tour ticket via Eventbrite to attend as spaced is capped at 30 people.

Note: Parking is very limited at the dam, so please meet at the Olmos Basin Trailhead to carpool over with others. Arrive between 8:30 - 8:45 AM at the parking lot highlighted below to carpool. If you arrive closer to 9:00 AM, see map below and images for location and parking details at the dam. Address to the trailhead is 113-199 Dick Friedrich Dr, San Antonio, TX 78212
